Can we spot habitable exomoons?

I actually wrote about David Kipping (of UCL’s exoplanet research) and his exomoon paper back in July. Its basic thrust is that Earth sized exomoons are detectable by the instruments used in the Kepler mission.

However, yesterday saw the official press release and both Astronomy Now and Skymania have stories, so I thought I’d put up this post saying read my old post for my thoughts on this.
