See yesterday’s Tomorrow’s World today

The BBC Archives have invested a new collection, consigning to the past the program that tried to glimpse the technological future Tomorrow’s World. Maggie Philbin, a former presenter and current twitterer, introduces the collection in an article on the BBC website. The videos embedded in the article range from a man talking to a computer in Morse code and another with a similarly archaic computer terminal, which nevertheless ran on the basis of cloud computing decades before Google. As for other collections in the archive? Well, the Moon landing one is always worth a look…
