The twitter account for the UK branch of the International Year of Astronomy, 2009, (@astronomy2009uk) has been sending messages from the 9th European Symposium for the Protection of the Night Sky. The conference, at Armagh Observatory, ran at the end of last week on the 17th-19th of September and involved airing a lot of issues relating to Light Pollution, its affects and mitigation.
