The final call has gone out for the .Astronomy conference registration. Covering astronomy using the internet from microblogging (twitter) to big dedicated citizen science websites like Galaxy Zoo, the conference runs from 30th of November – 4th of December at the Lorentz Center in Leiden, the Netherlands.
Meanwhile, on much the same theme but covering all communication media, the next Communicating Astronomy with the Public conference will be held in Cape Town, South Africa from the 15th-19th March 2010. Abstract deadline and registration for this event close in early November this year. The main conference will be preceded by an “Astronomy Communication 101” three day school at the South African Astronomical Observatory on March 10th-12th, for those who wish to attend.
