Solstice at Stonehenge

To celebrate the International Year of Astronomy, 2009, the Royal Astronomical Society and English Heritage will be running an event at Stonehenge between the 16th-19th of December. There will be free talks and tours by astronomers and archeologists, “From Earth to the Universe” series of pictures will be in attendance, there will be a chance to see the solstice sunset and those who book in advance may be able to see the night sky from the stones.
