Solar education session for teachers

NASA will be hosting a one day conference for educators to learn about missions exploring the Sun and its influence. Researchers associated with the Voyager, Ulysses, Genesis, STEREO and a number of Earth exploration satellites will be present to explain what they did and found. The general tone will be non-technical, but obviously some science and engineering will creep in. The conference is open to educators (teachers, museum staff etc), who have until Monday October 5th to apply for a place. The conference will be held at JPL, in Pasadena, California on Saturday, October 17th, and costs $25. Check in will be at 7:45am and the conference should end around 5pm.
