More messages to the stars

I mentioned in an earlier blog that the Telegraph had mentioned a few messages its readers wanted to send into space. Penguin has now gathered the top fifty messages and identified the top five.

This is all in aid of publicising a book and not linked to one of the highlights of world space week 2009, which was a project called Sent Forever, allowing messages to be beamed into space via Goonhilly (the even more mysterious place down south) at the end of world space week, which occurs every year from the 4th-10th of October.
