The World Science Festival promises forty events in five days from June 2nd-6th in New York City, the events ranging from tips for star gazing in the city to understanding temporal dynamics in General Relativity. The entire thing is opened with a star studded Gala event to honour Stephen Hawking. Entrance to events ranges from free to $100,000 (for the Titanium package of 20 tickets with VIP reception at the opening ceremony).
One of the stars there, science writer and researcher Brian Greene, will also be attending another event – a NASA Tweet-up (meet-up of users of twitter) to be held on the 5th of June. Further information and details on how to sign up to that are here.
