New launch dates for final two shuttle missions confirmed

NASA has confirmed the final scheduled launch dates for the space shuttles Endeavour and Discovery.

Discovery will launch on mission STS-133 at 21:55 GMT on the 1st of November 2010 and Endeavour will blast off on mission STS-134 at 21:19 on the 26th of February 2011.

No word has been given on a possible skeleton crew mission for Atlantis after it acts as the rescue vehicle for Endeavour’s final mission. All missions will be resupplying the International Space Station.
