A tour of astronomy in ancient Mexico

Continuing their blog entries regarding tours of places of astrophysical significance, NASA Goddard‘s Blueshift podcast has put up an entry in ‘Maggies’ blog’ on astronomy in ancient Mexico, liking buildings such as the pyramids there with things like the solstices, when the patterns of light and dark created by the shadows line up nicely with the lines of the buildings themselves.
