Another NASA tweet-up

NASA have arranged a ‘tweet-up’, where users of the website twitter who follow NASA’s account can meet up with those behind the account as well as special guests. More on NASA tweet-ups here. This particular one will take place at NASA Headquarters in Washington, 3pm on Thursday the 29th of July. The special guest will be astronaut TJ Creamer, who used the International Space Station‘s improved communication bandwidth to send the first live tweet from space. Previous messages had been relayed to ground control, who would then post it to an astronaut’s account, whereas Creamer accessed the website and his account directly. More information on this event, eligibility requirements and how to register to attend are here.
